COVID-19 at a glance...

Update 11/9/2020

You are advised to meet people from no more than 1 other household at a time (up to 6 people in total) Children under 12 do not count towards the limit of 6 people who can meet.

Physical distancing and good hand hygiene remain the most effective measures in reducing the transmission of Covid-19.  Therefore, distancing requirements need to be maintained, where reasonably practicable, at all times, including when you are waiting to enter the premises and when you are seated.

For this reason, you should meet people from other households in only small numbers so that physical distancing will be possible. Our advice is that you should only meet people from no more than 1 other household at a time (up to 6 people in total) though the venue may impose a smaller group limit depending on things like venue and table size.

You are also encouraged to wear a face-covering where physical distancing may be more difficult, such as when entering and leaving, or moving around the premises.

You should avoid visiting multiple hospitality premises on the same day. In particular, do not visit more than one pub or bar on the same day, as this increases the risk of transmission.

What's Happening?

Within the restaurant, we have organised our tables to meet the one-metre social distancing requirements, as per the Government's guidelines. The maximum booking we can take is for six guests. Please note we cannot move tables together to accommodate larger groups. Tables must stay where they are positioned. You will have your table for two hours.

We're looking forward to welcoming you and your family back to The Albany. We require all children to stay at their table during the visit to the venue to help keep our staff and other patrons safe.

Table Service

Come in and relax. We will be operating with table service only. This helps protect you and our staff during service.

Contactless and card payments are the preferred method.

Menus, Cutlery and Sanitisers

Our dishwasher-proof menus will be sanitised after you have used them. There are hand sanitisers throughout the venue. Our team will set your table with cutlery, napkins and condiments if you have booked a table in advance to avoid multiple trips to your table when you are in.

Opening Hours

As we re-open post lockdown, we will be operating reduced hours. Opening times may change based on the number of booking we have coming in from day to day. We thank you for your understanding and patience while we navigate through these difficult times for our venue.
